GrazeScape is Managed Grazing by Farmer Brad LLC, based in Wayne County, Indiana. Farmer Brad brings a professionally managed flock of sheep to properties across East-Central Indiana to graze grass and other suitable vegetation.
Every project starts with an honest look at the property. If grazing is a good fit, we build a grazing plan around the site. If it isn't, we say so.
How we work
What GrazeScape is responsible for
The flock
GrazeScape owns, transports, and cares for the sheep. Property owners are not responsible for livestock care.
The equipment
Portable fencing, water, and the equipment needed to contain and rotate the flock are brought to the property.
The grazing plan
Grazing areas, rotations, and project duration are planned around the property's vegetation, terrain, and site conditions.
Not everything green belongs on the menu.
GrazeScape evaluates properties for vegetation that may be toxic or otherwise unsafe for livestock before grazing. If potentially hazardous plants or site conditions are present, the property may not qualify for grazing until those hazards are addressed.
